Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions that take effect from the date of first use. DropCatcher.co.uk may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions without notice. It is up to you to regularly review the Terms and Conditions in case there are any changes. Continued use of the DropCatcher.co.uk website after a change has been made is your acceptance of the change. English law shall apply to the contract and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


We charge £29 per slot booked and operate a no-cash-refund policy.

We don't charge any fees over and above any standard Nominet transfer fees to release your domain to another registrar.

Renewal & expiry Policy

Domains are renewed on a yearly basis, we will send out reminder emails every 30 days, 14 days and 1 day before the domain is due to expire. Please make sure you renew your domain at least 14 days prior to expiry to prevent any loss in services. If you do not wish to renew your domain name than please make sure you contact us a minimum of 14 days before the domain expires by submitting a support ticket, domains can be renewed through the client portal.

If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date you will have up to 30 days after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee (please log into the client portal area to view renewal fees), after 30 days your domain will go into a 60 day grace period which you can still renew your domain name but with an additional redemption fee of £59. This must be requested by email before the 75th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days after your domain will be removed and deleted from the register. DropCatcher.co.uk cannot guarantee the renewal of a domain name.

Domain monitoring credits expire after two years, unless agreed otherwise with DropCatcher.co.uk.

Complaints & Escalation Procedure

At DropCatcher.co.uk we like to think we get it right all the time, every time but the truth of it is everyone gets it wrong from time to time. We can only improve on our quality services with valid feedback from our customers.

If you wish to raise a complaint about a service you have received, please submit a complaints form to us including as much detail from the issue you have received. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues within 10 working days.

If you’re not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint, than please feel free to escalate your issue to Nominet at https://www.nominet.uk/complaints/ who will be more than happy to help you.


While every effort is made to ensure that the site is available at all times there may be occasions when, due to unforeseen technical difficulties that may affect the server, the internet in general, or other equipment, the site (including the admin area) may be unavailable. DropCatcher.co.uk makes no representation that the website will be available at all times and accepts no liability for any temporary unavailability, for which no refunds will be made.

DC Plus (Hosted Drop Catching)

If you request to convert an account to a DC Plus account (available only to Nominet tag holders) then the following terms additionally apply. The cost for booking slots is reduced to £0 and there are no limitations on domains booked. At the end of every month an invoice will be sent for £25 for each domain caught using the account. The minimum invoice amount to be £25 and the maximum invoice amount to be £250. Invoices must be paid within 14 days. Whilst you have an active DC Plus account you may not use your Dac allowance on any other system. You may de-activate your account with 24 hours notice.
